Divje Jezero (literally Wild Lake) is a complex natural phenomenon: a karst cave, a karst spring & a lake at the same time.
The water springs at the bottom of the lake from a steep cave passage of 160m.
The lakes surface it calm, while during heavy rains a water cone is formed in the middle of the lake, making it seem like it is literally boiling. At that time the lake is truly WILD.
In 1967, Divje Jezero acquired the status of nature monument & museum in nature
